Spectrum Healthcare Partners is seeking Cardiac Anesthesiologists (board-certified/board-eligible) to become integral members of our distinguished team of 40+ skilled physicans. We have both full-time and part-time positions. We have positions available at Maine Medical Center (MMC), a 700-bed tertiary hospital and Level One Trauma Center, with a residency, adult cardiothoracic fellowship, and academic opportunities.

- Call averages one weekend/month, one-weekday call/week.
- ABA board certification, Advanced PTE exam, and Cardiac Anesthesiology Boards required within 4 years of employment.
- We anticipate increasing our cardiac surgery (currently 1000 cases), structural heart, and EP volume by 80% over the next three years.
- Cardiac anesthesia cases include coronary revascularization, complex valve replacements, structural heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman), high-risk PCI, and heart failure surgery (ECMO, LVAD, Impella)

Physicians are clinical faculty at the Tufts University School of Medicine and are integral to the education of our expanding MMC anesthesiology residency and fellowship programs. We also participate in research and quality improvement endeavors central to the mission of the cardiac and anesthesia service lines.
